Taleeze was just giggling at the joke or Arina when she got hit by an elbow or something, splashing a bit of her drink... "Akh, tides!" She turned around to glance at the turian. she had to look up, tall as he was. "Hey, please watch your step," she said in total ignorance of her own earlier misstep with hitting Druss. But she smiled and nodded at the apology. "Oh, nothing happened, it's alright. I think they should improve the lighting here. People keep bumping into each other in this place."
Taleeze then noticed the look he gave Arina and raised an eyebrow.

Arina recognized Artacus right away. “Oh, hello, it's you. Nice to see you again” She offered her hand. “What brings you to the Citadel again, Artacus?"
What a coincidence to run into two acquaintances in the same place on the Citadel. Probability vortexes must have been at work. "But by good customs of tonight, bumping into another person means you have to buy my dear friend Taleeze here another drink!"

Artacus gave Arina a wide smile as he noticed her finally. "Ah, Arina. It's good to see you." He said as he turned to the other asari. "Guess i'm getting you a drink, eh?" He says with a chuckle, acknowledging what Arina just said. He turned his head left and right to see where the nearest bar was, scratching his head in confusion. "Uh... sorry, where do you get the drinks?" He as he put his hand under his chin, still looking around.

Taleeze laughed at the turian’s reaction. “I suppose… right here.” she said, pointing to the bar they were all gathered at. Lighting really had to improve. “I’m Taleeze, nice to meet you. I take it you and Arina have met before, haven’t you?” She winked at the other asari totally not suspiciously. “This is Miss Druss.” Taleeze opted to introduce the volus.
The waiter came and “Can I get you something, sir?” he asked the turian.

Artacus looks to the waiter and nodded his head slowly, crossing his arms. "I'd like some turian brandy, and something for the asari here." He said as he looked to Taleeze. "Hm... what would you like?" He says with a polite smile upon his face as he looked to the trio he managed to bump into. They were pretty much right about the lighting in here, it was hard to see in this place. Although he could see easily in the dark, this was just a bit ridiculous.
He turns his head back to the trio again, smiling.

“Thank you sir!” Taleeze said with some excitement. “I’d like a Serpant Nebula Daiquiri” Why not go bold?
“Coming right up…” The waiter was preparing a brandy and the cocktail… “So, I take it, you two have met before” She looked from Arina to the turian. “You work for the turian embassy?” To Taleeze it seemed the nearest guess, since he sure looked like a person who’d make a nice diplomat, well dressed and impressive. For fun she added “… or are you a Spectre on a mission maybe?” raising an eyebrow.

'He knows the thessia-clan? Huh, maybe- wait, he looks kinda familiar . . . oh well, probably nothing. Wait, did she just say he was a spectre?' Druss would continue quirtly thinking to herself as she watched the three talk amongst themselves. 'Gods, they're all dressed so nice. I should get a fancy suit like Pitne's got. That'd show his skinny ass who's the boss around here. I wonder if the dancefloor is open?'

Artacus shook his head at the asari's answer, chuckling a bit. "Oh no no, I don't work for the embassy. And i'm not an spectre." He replied, straightening one of his sleeves then looks back up to Taleeze. "The name is Artacus by the way, nice to meet you. Taleeze, was it?" He said as he extended his hand forward to Taleeze, offering her a handshake and keeping on his friendly smile as always.

Quietly sneaking away from the group, Druss walks over to the dance floor, standing between it and a group of patrons socializing. She'd quietly lean on a rail for a few minutes, listening to the music, formulating a plan in her head for Illium.

A young asari entered the establishment. She tried to look very casual but is was obvious that this was out of her usual league. Wearing tight black leather pants and a short red jacket over a black shirt, she was already a standout in her choice clothing. The T_shirt was sporting a bright screaming green Uri'Danus tag and looked a bit worn out. She had multiple rings pierced through the outer rims of her head fringes and one above her brow and a labret. At least those were the ones visible.
Cyna buried her hands in the small pockets of the jacket and strolled over to a bar. She wasn't sure what she was about to expect but senior students had been excited about this place and she wanted to have a look for herself. It was high class for sure! She wondered what would happen if the fish tanks ever broke.
When the barman asked her what she wanted to drink she jerked. "Uh...." Studying the drinks list, she found a lot of tempting things out of her price range - as usual. "I'll take a Solar Soda," she managed to say with some dedication
Soon after she was suckling at a straw from her yellow soft drink and watched the people.

Daia sauntered in, looking somewhat formal in a business suit, although this was offset by her wearing a beret at a jaunty angle - it matched, insofar as black matches with virtually anything, but that seemed to be the extent of its relevance to the rest of her attire. The fish tank held her attention for a good few minutes before she moved over to the bar and took a seat, smiling at the bartender.
“Hmm, a...” she mused, studying the drinks list, “a greyhound - how heavy-duty is that? I’ll have one, thanks.” As the barman moved off to prepare the drink she flipped the holo-menu over to the quarian section, studying the listed specifications of the club’s advertised purification system, but shortly got distracted looking up ‘greyhound’ on Extrapedia; accidentally following the wrong link, she seemed to be pursuing the line of inquiry that it was a kind of horse.

Suddenly an older asari sat down close to her. Not exactly real close perhaps but as the bar was not particularly crowded, her proximity was well below the average distance to any other person in the area (the barman was an exception and as an employee he didn't count). So one could safely say, that dark blue asari was close to Cyana. And she wore a funny... cap.... thingy.
The angle and how it was arranged made it a bit obvious - at least to Cyana - that it was not meant for an asari head. The fringes seemed to be in the way a bit. Cyana thought that the other asari with her adornment was still the most interesting person nearby (or close). She took a sip from her soda and observed the order of what seemed to be a stiff drink. It was not yet late in the daycycle and Cyana had been thinking about how much more crowded this place would probably be in the evenings. Maybe that asari had earned herself a treat after a hard days work. Well, what could this person do for a living? Cyana kept that little game going for herself but couldn't progress. Hrmpf, probably a business owner or a model. It wasn't more than wild guessing so she gave up.
Because she was bored and sometimes her mouth was a tad faster than her senses, especially when she was bored, she said: "Cool hat!"

“Hm?” Daia looked up from her screen in surprise, then smiled at the young asari. “Oh - thanks!” She took the beret off and turned it over in her hands. “It’s a human thing - a berette. Wait, that doesn’t sound right - no I remember, silent ‘t’. Beret. Have to get it altered at the back when I get home.”
She put the beret aside on the bar and held out her hands in greeting.
“Nice to meet you - I’m Daia.”

Oh, so she was a tourist? Cyana sucked at her own game. She moved a bit closer and eyed the object with interest. “Funny thing. I suppose you have to have hair to make it stick poerly. I don’t like anything on my head myself. Maybe a bandeau if anything, I don’t like how it itches between the tendrils.”
“I am Cyana”, she replied as she shook the other asari’s hand. “So, you’ve been visiting Earth?”

“Oh, not this trip,” Daia shook her head. “No, we - my bondmate and I - are just here to take advantage of the facilities at Huerta; she’s sleeping through recovery now, and I’m just loitering around until she’s back on her feet and we can go home. No, this,” she poked the beret, “actually came from watching sports back at the hotel - there’s a human game I follow, tennis, they just recently had one of their big tournaments, and this one happens to be held in France - where the berets come from.” She peered curiously at it. “Doesn’t quite seem to be everyday wear, but it shows up in the localised marketing an awful lot. I’m one of those where once I see something enough times, I just have to give it a try.”
She smiled at the bartender as her drink arrived, and gave it a tentative sip.
“Ooh, that’s got a bite,” she exhaled. “Just the one, then.” She giggled softly, and turned back to Cyana. “I know the feeling you mean - the itch,” she clarified, touching the side of her scalp. “There are fabrics that avoid it - usually the traditional Thessian-made kind - but barely anyone seems to bother these days, it’s always synthetic weaves... I don’t really go in for headgear as a rule myself - not often anyway. Sometimes with costumes, depends on the theme.”
