Cali nodded and took a deep breath in before slowly letting a breath out. "Alright... As you were." She commanded, almost instantly going back to what she was doing. "So, how fast can you get the Kodiak fixed?" She asked, again, checking off the last rifle. Before he could answer, she turned back to the civilians. "I want ground vehicles hijacked and plastered with metal now. This is the big one, we need to be ready."

Slowly standing up he felt slightly wobbly, the tense atmosphere and his trailed nerves starting to get to him. "It depends if the..." Daniel stopped mid sentence as Cali shifted her attention away from him. Sighing audibly out of frustration he lights up his omni-tool to check in on the shuttle's systems and location. After a moment the man opened his mouth to speak once the alien didn't seem busy. "Depends, the armor is pretty shot up, if the core is still stable it will fly...less then optimal." Shifting through the menus of his omni-tool he brings up a list of the shuttle's cargo manifest. Stuff like a couple weapons crates, medi gel shipments and standard ration packs. "You're not planning on making me fly that thing straight at a reaper?"

"Not exactly, no." She responded, hoisting a rifle onto her back. "I want it able to fly with commando ships. We're the little grain of sand that tips the scale against a bunch of boulders." She explained as she placed a crude, hastily made helmet on her head. Her omni-tool blipped again, to which she instantly responded. Her eyes appeared to light up faintly, causing her to pick her head up. "Apparently Commander Sheppard touched down on Earth, and I'm getting speculation that the Crucible is almost in place, whatever that is." She informed.
She thought for a second and looked around. "If I give you the right people, we could actually get the Kodiak it better shape than it even was before."

Daniel himself didn't have much or any gear with him at all except for the weapon strapped to his hip. He felt naked being in a combat zone with no personal armor or shield protection, made him think about the set of armor still stashed away on the shuttle, it may be time to break it out finally. Like a light shot of hope hitting into his system the human breaks mid thought and looks over towards her. "If Sheppard is back on Earth that means something big is going down...you think we're close to the end?" The soldier mumbles out as slight strings of hope lightly flow through his words. Now wasn't the time to think about victory, there is still plenty of fighting to go through before pretty medals are handed out. Opening his omni-tool he downloads the coordinates of the shuttle's landing zone to show her. No way they could have brought the shuttle into the bunker, instead it landed just outside the bunker using the nearby destroyed buildings and debris as cover to hide it away. "Here, just give me a ton of Quarians and I'll handle the rest." Daniel says as he set up a personal way point for him to follow. "I still have equipment and supplies that needed off loaded from it, I think you're going to need it."

"Possibly." She said, scratching her chin. "For them or us, I don't know." She finished. She didn't show too much emotion on the outside. On the inside though, it was almost as if she was having a complete breakdown. Different emotions soared and faultered, but she had to keep her composure. She wasn't necessarily cut out for leadership, even given her extensive training. After a short pause, she gestured a few Quarians, then nodded to Daniel. "Get it done."

Daniel wasn't a prime example of a leader either, the two were kinda cut from the same cloth, both finding themselves into leadership position without a choice in the matter. Do or die, sink or swim. That is the pressure that is placed on a leader, to Daniel the turian seemed fit for a leader, of course he didn't know the emotions that went rampant inside her mind but a part of being a leader is not showing those emotions to keep others confident in the person they follow, can't follow someone into battle if they just break down. And someone around here needed to look strong and confident, sucks that it has to be them. "We'll worry about that later, one thing at a time." Distribution of supplies didn't seem like a top priority, getting that shuttle fully operational however seemed at the top of the list. "Will do." Giving her a nod he motions for the squad of aliens to follow him, turning to leave the man stops for a moment and turns back to face her. "And ma'am..." Standing at attention he raises an arm to salute her. "Good luck, see you soon." There were more words he could have said, something passionate or loving, but he didn't have the time to think up of anything or even think over his emotional feelings towards the alien. He didn't expect anything in return, not a salute nor a kiss. Time was a precious resource and they needed to get to work now. Remaining at attention for a few seconds he turns away from the turian and walks off ready to follow his personal way point out of the base and towards the shuttle.
"Alright if you have weapons keep them at the ready, don't know what kinda shit is already crawling out there." He spoke up to break the silence between him and the Quarians. It just felt strange being the one to speak up first, to give out the orders. But just like Cally he needed to hide away any fear and emotions to look strong. "I need you guys to assist in making repair work on our Kodiak then transfer what supplies is inside back to our people, so we'll have to find a place to drop the supplies off or we're stuck carrying boxes back here on foot." Flashing up his omni tool he shows the aliens a map of the surface area. "Okay look, when we come up to the surface we will be here, the shuttle is parked in this building just across from ours, we only need to cross the street, just a short little jog and we'll be there alright." He looks back at the others as he kept explaining. "Work fast and we'll get into the air, worry about the cargo last, priority number one is getting the shuttle repaired." Pulling out his weapon he readies it as they near the entrance to the surface. "Alright.." He took a deep breath before speaking. "What are your names, what mechanical ship...part...thing are you best experienced in fixing?" Daniel wanted to set the roles on who repairs what now, just to have a solid plan. The human hoped that Cally is having better luck then him, because this will be interesting, the human hasn't worked with Quarians before, not even got a good look up close at one until now.

As Daniel began to leave, Cali started to chalk up battle plans. Where the enemy is going to be the thickest, where to unite with local police forces and other galactic armies, where to strike, when to strike, different armaments they have, ways to militarize civilian vehicles. When she was called, she turned her head to Daniel to see him saluting her. She froze at the sight before turning her whole body to him and saluting back, shaking a little from the emotional trauma that started to rise in her. "Hopefully not in the afterlife." She replied, returning to her plans. She was a little shaken up now, the barrage of emotions collapsing on her, but she hanged on.
The Quarians looked at each other, each one having a different weapon in hand, the smallest of them with only a Shuriken. Their enviro-suits hid their rather confused and anxious looks. The smallest, a female, came up with Daniel first. "Masi'Rifal nar Shellen. I know a thing or two about mass effect cores, but that's primarily on large scale vessels." She mentioned, taking a quick glance around, readying her pistol in one hand and her omni-tool in the other. "But I'm certain a down size won't be difficult. Just give me the right amount of element zero." She assured, staying close to Daniel.
The next to approach was a male Quarian, average build for his species, carrying a phaeston. "Hon'Luzu vas Usela. I was in charge of armoring up civilian skycars into small-scale tanks. Give me some scrap to make into omni-gel, and I could get your Kodiak's armor into peak condition." He offered, not appearing to pay too much attention to his surroundings, seeing how the other two were already covering the spaces.
Next one out was a male Quarian that was larger than most other Quarians, carrying a rocket launcher that appeared to be of Quarian make. "Gaf'Saarol vas Yaska, sir. Probably the only soldier here, originally part of the Yaska crew. Have been disconnected with them since arrival." He introduced, taking a quick scan of the horizon he could see. "Give me the scrap, and your gun on the Kodiak will be firing better than you've ever seen it fire. Or, I could make an other gun, provided the right materials, so we won't have to keep switching the thing from side to side."
The last Quarian to exit was an other male. He appeared very scared, shaking. The shotgun in his hands appeared far to large for him, it shaking as well. "N-Nin'Gaelon nar Q-Qwib Qwib. Sh-shield specialist, give me a good bit of eezo and I-I can give us and extra layer of p-protection, sir."

Not so much band of brothers more like band of nerds, but each one was more skilled in certain tech then he was, they'll do well. "Alright...Shellen..Usela..Yaska and Qwib Qwib." Daniel repeated parts of their names to call them by, he was sure as hell not going to remember the full names of all of them. "You guys will do nicely." He comments before moving over to each one. "You're good...check your weapon one last time before we head out." The human says to Shellen and Yaska before moving to the others. Placing a hand onto Usela's rifle Daniel raises it slightly. "Keep your weapon ready at all times, eyes and ears always open." He gives him a nod before moving to the nervous alien. Looking over the large heavy shotgun in his hands the human spoke calmly as he reaches for the gun. "Listen bud let's trade." Daniel took the shotgun and plopped his lighter Cerberus SMG onto the Quarian's hand. "It's hell of a lot lighter then this, but I expect you to give it back when all this is over." Giving the nervous alien a pat on the shoulder the Cerberus engineer looked over the heavier firearm as he took the lead. "There should be plenty of scrap and supplies for you to work with, just...go nuts do what you feel is best, but let's worry about getting there first." The map he showed them gave detailed view of the building, it was just across the street, the building itself seemed like a service station, a hole in the ceiling allowed the Kodiak to land inside, all they had to do was simply walk through the front door. Motioning them to follow Daniel moved up with his weapon raised. "Tight formation everyone keep an eye out." They weren't on the street yet but can't be too careful. Once the team was in position to see the street and the building across from them the human signaled everyone to take cover behind any sort of debris. It was no Olympic run to the building but the smart thing to do was take it slow. "Alright, we need to be careful but also hurry.." Daniel scans around the street to make sure it was clear for now. Thinking for a moment before turning back to his team. "Okay...I'm going to run out first to see if it's clear, if I get across the street safely then all of you will go next in a group, I'll cover you as you rush over." He goes over the plan with them before looking at each one with a serious look. "If..I get shot and go down out there...you guys rush out and save my ass." The tone of his voice got slightly lighter with his statement, no need to be too serious. Though the man was still only in basic human clothes, no armor nor shields, he would have to be extra careful. "Alright you guys ready, questions concerns?" He asked his team before doing anything, taking notes from what Cally taught him.

Hon'Luzu rolled his eyes at being instructed what to do, picking up his gun none the less. At the end of the listing of instructions, the Quarian squad looked at each other, as if they were all speaking to each other without using words.
"No sir, I think we're good." Masi'Rifal said for the group, instructing the others to keep their heads down.
Nin'Gaelon was still rather nervous and shaky, even given the lighter gun and little speech of confidence.

With a nod the human turns his gaze back to the street. "Alright then...let's get this show on the road." Glancing back and forth down the street everything seemed clear and quiet. The silence felt unnatural for a war zone, the eeriness started to dig under his skin. Taking in a few last deep breathes Daniel hops out of cover and guns it out into the open. Sprinting fast across the uneven damaged street he slowed down at the last moment to stop himself from smacking into the wall of their target building. He didn't get shot so that was a good sign. Leaning against the wall he once more scans the area for any enemy activity. If there was a time to move now would be the time, looking back across the street to his squad Daniel raised a hand to signal them to move. The heavy shotgun that he wielded wouldn't help at all if they were engaged from long range, but still he raised it anyway while shifting his gaze back and forth trying to keep an eye out for danger as the alien team made their move.
